So, second year in Cambridge has been almost entirely good so far. I'm paying more than I'd ideally like to for my room, and getting hold of bursaries (free money!) has been more annoying and full of bureaucratic fail than I remember from last year, but fun has happened, with both epic cooking, going clubbing (going out with my college daughter and her friends was fun), and lots of meeting people, most of whom I like...
November, though, comes with a new challenge. I'm sure that I'm
never ever going to actually complete National Novel Writing Month, but I felt like giving it a try anyway. Whether I'll put the thing I'm writing up on DA I don't yet know - it'll depend on how much of it I write and how annoyed I get by the problems with my writing - but if you're interested, the start of it's up on
my LiveJournal account.

Some dude: pat him on his fuzzy head and say "shut up dummy"
(warning: what I post here at the moment's more likely to be writing than drawings; this last year I've been reconnecting with childhood dreams of being an author and somehow this has ended in me writing poetry... :>
